__GIVEN DATA:__

**Cantilever retaining wall basically consist of 2 parts ( Slab & Stem).**

**Width of slab = w =10’**

**Thickness of slab = t = 8” = 0.6’**

**Top Width of stem = a = 0.6’**

**Bottom width of stem = b = 1.67’**

**Height of stem = h = 10’**

**Length of Retaining wall = L= 50ft**

Volume of the retaining wall = Volume of slab + Volume of stem

Volume of slab = W * t * L

Volume of slab = 10*0.6*50 = 333.3 cft

Volume of slab = 10*0.6*50 = 333.3 cft

Volume of the stem = {(a+b)*h/2} * L

= { (0.6+1.67)*17/2} *50

= 990.2 cft

Total volume of retaining wall = 333.3 + 990.2 = 1323.5 cft
